Picture this my version of a Japenese style Tudor dolly queen with a dark ambiance about her, arriving to the sound of gothic chimes awaiting her fate.
She’ll hold strength, power, but seeks never to amaze a fairytale ending.

Vivienne Westwood – A Look Inside My Wardrobe
You’ve seen my accessories and you’ve met my beautiful Hattie ladies… pretty much through social media, I blast you everyday, if you follow me on Instagram, facebook and Twitter (pluggin it!) for the first time here, I’m sharing with you my very own style guide, wearing ‘Vivienne Westwood – A Look Inside My Wardrobe’
My collection spans over twenty five years, wearing Westwood, I still own my very first skirt that I bought at the age of thirteen and it fits! ‘Buy Less Choose Well’ as my friend Alquin bares all (cheeky). There isn’t much I don’t know about the famous Worlds End at Kings Rd (I’m there next week) formerly known as ‘Let It Rock, SEX, Too Fast To Live, Too Young To Die and Seditionaries with Malcolm McLaren, the rise of The Sex Pistols and all The Collections, that’s another blog waiting to be told. Sadly I was born ten years too late but the influence and inspiration which I see through Vivienne, it was only a matter of time the missing jigsaw piece would find its place, I would create to compliment all of my outfits matching tartan accessories.
I’ve never felt the need or desire to fit in. At times I can feel misunderstood but in a good way, if that makes sense. If I can influence people to be happy, explore their individuality, to express themselves with confidence, then so be it! wear what you will and at the same time make a statement ‘Climate Revolution’
There’s no book, trust me fashion is fun!
Which leads me here
Enjoy my #ootd #outfitoftheday you know the drill

MFA Accessory Designer Of The Year 2014
I cannot contain my excitement any longer, I’m very proud to announce that House Of Harrie Hattie won this years title Accessory Designer Of The Year 2014 at the Midlands Fashion Awards. Back for its sixth year the annual high profile event took place at the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Centre (CBSO) on Friday 24th October, hosted by ITV Weather Presenter Genelle Aldred.
With much preparation the event was a spectacular success. In attendance were fashion industry professionals, press, media and businesses which the public all celebrated an evening of fashion, style and innovation seen through the regions finest emerging independent designers and creatives, creating a platform of both exposure and network marketing for designers to further their success. The MFA was founded in 2009 by Jenny Eason and the fashion event of the year has gone from strength to strength.
For the special occasion I wore Vivienne Westwood’s Sea Monster dress – Anglomania Autumn/Winter 13/14 Collection the elegant unique cut perfectly teamed to match my Highland Tartan Headpiece. The mix of vibrant colourful tartan together they showcase a quirky stylish Highland theme. A show stopper if ever you seen one. Which leads me to the main event, not an empty seat in the house. All eyes focused on the imagination the true talent that graced the runway from each designer ( view here). My personal favourite was Michael Wallace, his collection of Haute Couture Bridal Wear saw beauty shown in his distinctive style of veils, lace with carefully pieced together feathers. All to the sound of Medievil Tudor Gothic music, the feeling that you were stepping back in time with him.
As the evening progressed the judges had made their final decision. The winner from each category receive a trophy of recognition with special features in Style Birmingham Magazine
I pride myself at House Of Harrie Hattie to create a British handmade label that offers luxury and style for my ladies to enjoy. Each headpiece is made using high end quality Harris Tweed or Highland tartan, lined with silk, complete with hand embroidered finish. My aim is to deliver the best.
I’d just like thank the incredible people I’ve met along the way, it’s been an absolute pleasure to meet so many of you, your kindness and support shown to me has been much appreciated. My journey is set to continue… 2015 I’m right here waiting. In true Hattie style *wink, wink*

Charming Country At Chatsworth
Set in the beautiful picturesque grounds of Chatsworth. This year sees the return of the annual country show. The event took place over three days, spread over achres of land around the historical Chatsworth House in the Derbyshire Dales, overlooking across the banks of the River Derwent, it is the seat of the Duke Of Devonshire and has been home to the Cavendish family since 1549.
Chatsworth Country Show is a popular event for visitors and exhibitors to get together and share all things country.
In attendance this year saw spectacular performances out in the grand ring, both thrilling and death defying by the Royal Signal Motorcycle Display Team. The Knights Of Arkley took the crowd back to Medieval times sharing with us a traditional joust. A jaw dropping display fly past by the Royal Air Force Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight Team gave a momentous tribute to the airmen of WW2 and the royal coach horses led their way through a tour of the grounds, whom brought a smile to many. Not forgetting all the favourites the gun and agility dogs putting on an impressive show with their handlers, the vintage cars and the finest food & shopping experience, your spoilt for choice.
For a lady who loves her tartan and tweed, Hattie was spotted amongst the crowd. Today’s choice wearing my Highland Tail Feather Headpiece from my collection over at www.houseofharriehattie.com teamed perfectly to match my Vivienne Westwood Red Label suit.
Bringing fashion to the field and country with elegance and style. For the lady with high end in mind.

The email I’d been waiting for, with much delight and excitement upon reading, that House Of Harrie Hattie had been selected at this years Midlands Fashion Awards as a finalist for the best Accessory Designer Of The Year category. The Midlands Fashion Awards bring together some of the best up-and-coming designers from across the region. Now in its sixth year, the event presents a stylish evening of fashion and provides the perfect platform for designers and stylists to showcase their talent. Nervous and excited as I have to wait a little longer
To bring the evening to a close, saw an amazing catwalk show featuring UK and International Designers each showcasing up to eight looks Haute Couture, Evening Wear or Ready-To Wear Collections, presented by TV Presenter Adele Houghton.
Now in preparation for the main Awards, the clock is ticking. Harrie Hattie needs a hat and a dress!
